School Kits Distributed

 

 

June 14, 2025 - On the occasion of the 129th Foundation Day of the institution, a formal program was held today to distribute educational kits to needy female students within the organization. Mr. Migy Gabriel, Chairman of Bobst India, and Mr. George Fortier, General Manager, who provided significant financial support for these educational kits, were present at the event. Also present were Mrs. Suchitra Deshmukh, Finance Director, and Mrs. Elin Nathan, CSR Coordinator of the company. Representing MKSSS, Chairman Mr. Ravindra Dev, Board Member CA Abhay Kulkarni, Secretary Dr. P. V. S. Shastry, and Donation Department Coordinator Mr. Pradeep Waje were on the dais.

 

 

 

In his introductory speech, Dr. Shastry expressed gratitude on behalf of the institution to Bobst India and other donors, including Scott Bader, for their financial contributions. He also briefly outlined the history of the educational kit distribution initiative. Addressing the recipients, he urged them to accept the kits with gratitude and strive for excellent education.

 

Subsequently, the dignitaries distributed the educational kits to the students. Mr. Migy Gabriel and Mr. George Fortier shared their thoughts, praising the MKSSS's work in the social sector. They expressed satisfaction in participating in this initiative through financial support and encouraged the girls to pursue education diligently. Mrs. Suchitra Deshmukh highlighted the bright traditions of Indian women and advised the students to uphold these ideals in their journey forward. She also expressed contentment in being associated with Maharshi Karve's institution.

 

Chairman Mr. Ravindra Dev encouraged the students receiving educational kits today to assist future students in need. Mr. Pradeep Waje delivered the vote of thanks, and Mrs. Pallavi Basale from the Donation Department conducted the program.
