MOU With Sweden University 
Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Samstha (MKSSS), Pune has recently signed an MOU with the Mid Sweden University of Sweden that will be in force for next three years. The agreement was made to derive mutual benefits from scholarly interaction, cultural interchange, co-operative research and other forms of academic collaboration.
 
This MOU includes exchange of students and academic staff members, collaborative research and possible exchange of academic papers; mutual assistance in the preparation of seminars, conferences and workshops; exchange of academic publication materials or other information; exchange of statistical and other quantitative and qualitative data for the purpose of benchmarking, co-operation in training projects for specified areas of development, opportunities for other forms of co-operation, such as the delivery of award and non-award courses.
 
The delegation of Sweden University visited Karvenagar campus of MKSSS on 27th February 2024. During this visit the delegation visited the historical places like Maharshi Karve’s Samadhi, Museum and Kuti (Hut) as well as the higher education units, i.e. Bakul Tambat Institute of Nursing, KB Joshi Institute of IT, Manilal Nanavati Vocational Training Institute etc. located in the premises.
 
MOU signing ceremony was graced by Smt. Vidya Kulkarni, Vice Chairperson (MKSSS), Dr. Dhananjay Kulkarni, Managing Committee Member, Dr. P.V.S. Shastry, Secretary, Dr. Meena Ganapathy, Principal of Nursing College, Dr. Anurag Kashyap, Principal of Dr. Bhanuben Nanavati College of Architecture, Dr. Swati Sayankar, Principal of BCA College. Dr. Shastry briefed about the activities of MKSSS and the purpose of MoU to all the dignitaries.
 
The MoU was signed by the Vice Chancellor of Mid Sweden University, Dr. Anders Fällström and Dr. P.V.S. Shastry, Secretary, MKSSS.
